Me Time

It may sound selfish but you really need to take time for just your self. A time to regroup to replenish yourself after a stressful day. What ever your job is, if you are a full time homemaker raising tomorrow's future generation, the next president, an astronaut, or the doctor that is destined to find the cure for cancer. Or you are working at your chosen occupation, you need to take some time for yourself, just you alone. That time should be engaging in an activity that you want to do. Something that does not cause you to become stressed nor raises your blood pressure. Meditate on pleasant thoughts. Think on good things. Don't go way back into your past and take yourself to a time and a place of hurts. Don't think about what may have made you angry or irritated you today.  Let it go for at least 1 hour!  No let it go for this day.  If you are not resolving it (I don't mean getting even) let it go! Think to encourage yourself! Renew your mind and your spirit. Yes I have to have rules for this quiet time for yourself. Can you spent time with yourself with the television off. That is rule number 1.

Some examples of time for yourself are as follows. This is purely to de-stress yourself and to rejuvenate

Take a long hot bubble bath with no inturrptions when the water starts to cool down add more hot water.

Get a massage, you will feel totaly relaxed, like a wet noodle

If going for a drive is your thing, take country or a scenic drive that last for at least ˝ hour .

Take a trip to your public library to read or your local Borders Book store to read.

A good night's sleep of course is required.   Actually adults need 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night. Not 5 ˝ or 6 hours of sleep
